CarGurus Analysis: 2020 Nissan Altima
overall
Summary
With 50 currently listed for sale and an average price of $19,515 CAD, 44.0% of 2020 Nissan Altima listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2020 Nissan Altima 4.8 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 7.33 / 10.
Why it stands out
The 2020 Nissan Altima is an appealing midsize family sedan that gets just about everything right, but it does not have a clear signature advantage to set it apart. Even so, it stands out in Canada because all-wheel drive is standard equipment, which is unusual among mainstream sedans and makes it a more compelling choice for buyers who want extra traction without moving to an SUV. It also earns praise for easy-to-use technology, multiple powertrain options, and great handling.
That broad appeal is balanced by a few drawbacks. The 2020 Nissan Altima is described as poor value for money, and advanced safety features are not standard. Owner feedback also points to comfort, fuel efficiency, and a strong list of features, especially in the base model, while some reviewers mention the lack of a memory seat feature and loose steering.

Great value and great car! I traded my 2017 in and got t 2020, even though I wasn’t planning on it for another year. I feel good about it and all the features it comes with the base model is incredible! Comes with remote start as well! Very comfortable and smooth ride. I’m very happy with this car.
