How much does the 2020 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Is the 2020 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.77/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its strong performance, comfortable ride, and spacious, well-equipped interior. The overview also makes it a fit if you want everyday usability with Jeep styling and all-weather traction, while the market still shows 29.6% of listings as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with many drivers describing the Cherokee as comfortable and enjoyable to live with over time. The same feedback also points to strong performance and a smooth ride, which supports the impression that it can be a trouble-free choice for many buyers.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been well maintained and test-driven carefully, especially if you want to avoid surprises after purchase.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 490 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,269 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $21,292 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,225 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has softened enough to give used buyers more negotiating room today, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy at the current average or below, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong demand for well-equipped, comfortable SUVs can help support values, but condition and mileage will matter a lot when you eventually resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Cherokee makes the most sense if you want a well-liked used SUV with a softer price trend and enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to look at nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2020’s stronger owner satisfaction and current deal availability.
