Is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, safety features, and great value for money, and many appreciate the upscale feel and generous equipment for the price. That makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV that feels more premium than its price suggests. With 28.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free experience for many shoppers, especially those who value a vehicle they can count on over the long term. The strongest themes are comfort, practicality, and value, which usually matter most in everyday ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any example you consider has been well maintained and carefully inspected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right listing appears, but you should still compare carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 200 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,341 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $25,341 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,224 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can help you negotiate now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,967 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $25,341 CAD average.
• It adds more standard equipment and a new luxury-themed trim.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and a strong ownership reputation. Consider the 2021 if you are willing to pay more for added equipment and a more upscale trim strategy. If price matters most, the 2020 is the smarter starting point.
