How much does the 2020 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 16.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 191 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.81/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, safety features, and strong value for money. Many also like the luxurious feel and the extensive feature content for the price, which fits well if you want a family-size three-row SUV with a more upscale character.

With its focus on passenger space, comfort, and practicality, it suits you well if you want a well-equipped family hauler rather than a stripped-down utility vehicle. There are 30.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.81/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a generally dependable ownership experience, with many drivers describing the SUV positively over time. That said, the same feedback also mentions some complaints, including quirks with the towing package and a few missing tech features, so the ownership experience is not entirely trouble-free.

For used buyers, that means you should still inspect service history carefully and pay attention to how the vehicle has aged in real-world use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 191 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.91% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,469 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $25,683 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,911 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.81/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.81/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $27,429 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $25,683 CAD average.
• It adds more standard equipment and a new luxury-focused trim.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger price play, especially if you can find one near the low end of the range. If you’re willing to spend more for added equipment and a broader trim selection, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
