Used 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty cost?

Prices have softened 6.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 106 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

It’s a strong fit if you want a heavy-duty truck that can serve as a worksite tool, commuter, family hauler, or road-trip vehicle, and the expert score of 8.2/10 backs up that broad appeal. The user rating is 3/5, which points to a more mixed ownership impression than the expert assessment.

The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The F-350’s breadth is a major advantage: it offers multiple body styles, multiple powertrain options, and a trim range that stretches from work-focused to luxury-oriented. The 2020 updates also add a new 7.3-litre V8, expanded use of the 10-speed automatic transmission, and the Tremor off-road trim, which gives you more choice if you want capability with a bit more character.

The trade-offs are clear, though. The styling is uninspired, and the touchscreen response is sluggish.

With 21.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

Is the 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

The 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty is built around a heavy-duty formula that prioritises capability, and the expert assessment supports that with a strong 8.2/10 overall score and a 9/10 safety score. The truck’s broad powertrain range and work-focused design suggest a vehicle that’s meant to handle demanding use.

The performance notes point to engines that make more than enough power, with swift acceleration for such a heavy vehicle and towing figures that are well beyond what most buyers will ever need. That kind of headroom is reassuring if you plan to tow, haul, or keep the truck in regular service.

Ford’s infotainment and towing tech also help with day-to-day usability, especially the Pro Trailer Backup Assist system with its 360 camera, wide-angle backup camera, and Trailer Reverse Guidance. On the cost side, the truck’s heavy-duty nature means fuel use can be substantial, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is less about mechanical fragility and more about the expense of running a large, capable truck.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The XL is the most basic work-truck version, with steel wheels, black bumpers, vinyl seats, manual climate control, a 2.3-inch instrument panel menu screen, and a basic stereo. The XLT adds more everyday comfort and convenience, including 18-inch aluminium wheels, SYNC 3, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Lariat is the best-value step up if you want a more balanced mix of work and comfort, while the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited move progressively further into luxury territory.
• Powertrain: You get a standard 6.2-litre gas V8, an available 6.7-litre turbodiesel Power Stroke V8, and a new 7.3-litre gas V8 for 2020. The 6.2-litre routes power through a standard 10-speed automatic, and the truck is available with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with low range. The diesel is the strongest towing choice, while the 7.3-litre adds more gas-engine output.
• Safety package: The standard truck includes a full array of airbags, automatic high beams, traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The XLT adds automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring, including trailer coverage. The Lariat adds a reverse-sensing system, the King Ranch adds lane departure warning and standard Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and the Platinum adds adaptive cruise control and adaptive steering.
• Infotainment: SYNC 3 is standard on the XLT and above, with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The system is generally intuitive, but it can have occasional hiccups, and the Home icon is not available while you’re in CarPlay or Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: Owners report average fuel efficiency of around 20.5 litres per 100 kilometres with the 6.2-litre gas engine. The new 7.3-litre gas engine returns around 17 to 20 L/100 km. The Power Stroke diesel engine has a high of around 20 L/100 km, but it also can return as little as 13 or even 12 L/100 km on the highway.

Which 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty trim should I buy?

The 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty is offered in 6 trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

Here’s the short version:

• XL: This is the most work-focused choice, with the simplest cabin and the fewest comfort features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-frills truck and plan to use it mainly as a tool.
• XLT: This is the best-value trim for most used buyers because it adds SYNC 3, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and useful convenience upgrades without jumping too far in price.
• Lariat: This is the sweet spot if you want a more comfortable daily driver, since it adds leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, power front seats, and power-adjustable pedals.
• King Ranch: This trim leans into upscale character with its unique two-tone exterior design, saddle-style leather upholstery, ambient cabin lighting, and memory settings. It’s a good pick if you want luxury with truck capability.
• Platinum: This is the more premium-feeling choice, especially with heated-and-ventilated seats and Multi-Contour front bucket seats with massaging function when the turbo diesel is equipped.
• Limited: This is the top-end luxury trim, with power-retractable running boards, a panoramic dual-panel sunroof, and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The XLT is the best-value trim for most shoppers, while the King Ranch and above are for buyers who want more luxury and are willing to pay for it.

The XLT trim also gets the key safety upgrades that matter most, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers: there’s enough inventory to compare options, but you’ll still want to move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 21.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.24% compared with last year.

What is the 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $57,499 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,326 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect some depreciation pressure rather than a strong upward price trend.

Because the truck is still in demand for work and towing, well-equipped examples should remain easier to place than niche vehicles. Even so, the current trend shows that timing and condition will matter if you want to protect resale value.

Is the 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty safe?

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment includes a full array of airbags, automatic high beams, traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Moving up to the XLT adds automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring, including trailer-aware coverage. The Lariat adds a reverse-sensing system, the King Ranch adds lane departure warning and standard Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and the Platinum adds adaptive cruise control and adaptive steering.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 21.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.24% compared with last year.
• The new 7.3-litre V8, expanded 10-speed automatic use, and Tremor trim matter to you.

The bottom line: The 2020 model is the better pick if you want the updated powertrain mix and the Tremor option, especially if you value more breadth in capability and character. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year can still make sense, but the 2020 gives you a strong blend of updates and market softness.
