Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Owners consistently praise its power, comfort, and towing capability, and they also like the rugged workhorse character and stylish features. Is the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in daily use and capable over the long haul, especially when you need a heavy-duty pickup you can count on for towing and work duties. The current average of $46,137 CAD sits slightly above last year's $45,023 CAD.

That kind of price movement suggests the truck has held buyer interest well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Strong demand at the used-car level can help support values, especially for a heavy-duty pickup with broad appeal. Because this model year also earns a strong owner satisfaction score, it has the kind of reputation that can help keep resale demand steady.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 13.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.47% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of modern features, heavy-duty capability, and owner satisfaction, the 2017 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with lower pricing may be the better path, but you may give up some of the 2017’s appeal in equipment and overall desirability.
