Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Equinox makes the most sense if you want a roomy, practical compact SUV with a strong value story and you can take advantage of today’s softer pricing.
