Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,740 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $23,766 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,077 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy at the right number now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and owner approval, the 2019 is the year to focus on. It gives you a lower average price than last year’s market while still benefiting from very positive owner feedback. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 is the better starting point when you want a premium XC60 with solid market support.
