Why it stands out
The 2019 Toyota Tundra is notable for its robust build quality and bulletproof reliability. As the first full-size truck from a Japanese automaker built in North America, it competes directly with established rivals like the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While the Tundra has faced criticism for its outdated technology and lack of diesel options, it excels in performance, boasting powerful engine choices such as the twin-turbo i-Force Max hybrid powertrain that generates an impressive 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque, enhancing its towing capacity and capability for heavy duties. Reviewers appreciate the spacious and comfortable interior, noting a luxurious ride quality that makes it suitable for both work and leisure. Despite its higher price point compared to domestic trucks, the Tundra’s strong resale value and reliability make it a solid investment for buyers looking for a dependable vehicle to keep long-term.

Bullet proof, simple and reliable. Value wise, everything is overpriced these days.

i have had a 2012 Tundra and 2017. They are a beast of a truck with soo much room. Two things i would change and thats probably it. They NAVIGATION system is the weakest on the market. The screen and apps are actually really bad. Reason why i didnt purchase another one in December. The second would be the gas mileage. I guess that comes with the beefiness of the truck. If the Nav was better, i would trade my truck in tomorrow to get another one.

If the technology inside was updated, I’d give it 5 stars. A little bulky but definitely a work mule of a truck.
