How much does the 2019 Toyota 4Runner cost?

Is the 2019 Toyota 4Runner a good car?

Yes — the 4.81/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, smooth ride, and spacious interior, while also highlighting its off-road capability and comfort. That makes it a strong fit if you want a rugged midsize SUV with real capability and everyday usability. With 36.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota 4Runner reliable?

Owners rate it 4.81/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback repeatedly points to reliability, and reviewers also describe it as dependable and comfortable over time. That combination matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is that strong durability can come with higher running costs, so you should budget carefully for ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota 4Runner?

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $40,682 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota 4Runner's resale value?

The current average of $41,030 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,917 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Because the 4Runner still has a loyal following, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less distinctive SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.81/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota 4Runner or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.81/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $43,398 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $41,030 CAD average.
• It adds standard advanced safety features and a more upscale feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its rugged, old-school character. If you want a newer model year and are willing to pay more, the 2020 is the secondary path to consider.
