Should I buy a 2019 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want heavy-duty capability with a more upscale feel and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years and focusing on the best-maintained truck rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
