Used 2019 RAM 2500 for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2019 RAM 2500 cost?

Prices have softened 12.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 217 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 RAM 2500 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the truck’s performance, comfort, and towing capability, and they also highlight the upscale interior features and strong value for the equipment offered. For you, that makes it a compelling fit if you want a heavy-duty truck that balances work-ready capability with a more refined cabin. With 28.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 RAM 2500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable, with praise centred on its powerful diesel engine, comfort, and capability over the long haul. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used heavy-duty truck you can count on for regular towing and demanding use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s core appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained properly and not worked too hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 RAM 2500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 217 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,111 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 RAM 2500's resale value?

The current average of $40,623 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,331 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now if you plan to keep the truck for several years. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means there may be less upside than there was a year ago, especially if the truck is higher mileage or lightly equipped. Even so, a well-kept example should still appeal to buyers who want heavy-duty capability with a more upscale feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 RAM 2500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $43,385 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $40,623 CAD average.
• It adds a more polished, upscale feel with stronger emphasis on luxury and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2019 is the smarter primary choice because pricing has eased and owner satisfaction is strong. If you are willing to pay more for a newer-feeling cabin and a more polished overall presentation, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
