Should I buy a 2019 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $151,043 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $187,591 CAD average.
• The next year adds the eighth-generation 911 with a fresh redesign and updated appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the end of the 991 generation and a strong mix of desirability, satisfaction, and market availability. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2020 may be worth a look because it comes in lower on average and brings a newer-generation package.
