What is the 2021 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $244,861 CAD sits slightly above last year's $212,678 CAD.

That upward move suggests the market continues to place strong value on this model year. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you may benefit from that demand when it comes time to sell. The limited supply and strong enthusiast interest can help support pricing, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 15.13% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $151,043 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $244,861 CAD average.
• It emphasises heritage, driver involvement, and manual-transmission appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $239,294 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $244,861 CAD average.
• It improves everyday drivability while keeping the 911 easy to live with.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2021 if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current-market relevance. If price matters more than getting the latest of this generation, the 2020 is the better value-oriented alternative, while the 2022 is the sensible step if you want a slightly newer version without paying more than the 2021 average.
