With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, the clearest signal comes from the market itself: the 2019 Nissan Micra is sitting in a moderate buyer's market, with pricing that has eased and a meaningful share of listings landing in deal territory.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Micra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rushing into the first one you see.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,691 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Micra's resale value?

The current average of $12,451 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,638 CAD.

That kind of decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may be better positioned to absorb further normal depreciation. For a future seller, the key will be keeping mileage and condition strong so your listing stands out in a market where prices have already softened.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Micra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and available inventory, the 2019 is the better starting point. If you're especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar condition and mileage.
