How much does the 2018 Nissan Micra cost?

Prices have softened 5.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 80 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice while you compare prices and condition.

Is the 2018 Nissan Micra a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a small used car that has pleased previous owners. With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully and find a competitive example.

Is the 2018 Nissan Micra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, especially if you focus on well-kept examples with clean history and consistent maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Micra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 80 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,588 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Micra's resale value?

The current average of $10,796 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,415 CAD.

That suggests the market has eased, which can be a mixed signal if you're thinking ahead to resale. A lower entry price can help you buy more carefully now, but it may also mean future appreciation is unlikely. If you plan to sell later, buying at the right price today matters more than chasing a quick rebound.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Micra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and owner approval, the 2018 is the one to focus on first. If you're especially price-sensitive, compare it against nearby years and prioritise the lowest-priced clean example, since the market currently gives you enough inventory to be selective.
