How much does the 2019 Nissan Micra cost?

Is the 2019 Nissan Micra a good car?

With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, your best read comes from the market itself: the 2019 Nissan Micra is trading at an average of $12,333 CAD, which is below its average price a year ago.

That pricing backdrop suggests a used Micra can make sense if you want a budget-friendly small car and you shop carefully. The market also shows 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to find value if you compare listings closely.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Micra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some confidence if you focus on value.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 56 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,698 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Micra's resale value?

The current average of $12,333 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,661 CAD.

For a future seller, that means the market has already adjusted downward, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well your car is presented. If you buy at the lower end of the current range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Micra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.72% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing and available inventory, the 2019 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on lower-priced listings and compare them against nearby model years to see whether a better deal appears elsewhere.
