Its high-quality interior and family-friendly character make it appealing if you value refinement over flash, while the broad range of powertrain choices adds flexibility. The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE is presented as a well-engineered, premium SUV with a long-running reputation for advanced technology and useful convenience and safety features. Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 131 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,810 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $38,810 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,754 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has softened, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The GLE’s premium cabin, strong equipment list, and broad appeal should still help it attract shoppers when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want a comfortable, well-equipped luxury SUV with a premium cabin and you value buying into a model year that has softened in price. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
