How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a luxury SUV with a premium feel and a conservative, family-friendly character, plus a quiet, comfortable, and spacious cabin. In Canada, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission add to its everyday appeal, especially if you want a polished used luxury SUV rather than something overtly sporty. The market also shows 28.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE is described as a familiar, conventional SUV with a reputation for being quiet, comfortable, and spacious, and its standard all-wheel drive supports everyday usability. That said, electrical glitches are not unknown, and the air suspension fitted to some versions can be problematic and expensive to fix. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you inspect the vehicle carefully and prioritise a well-maintained example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 133 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,810 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $39,810 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,907 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should expect pricing pressure unless your vehicle is especially well equipped, low kilometre, and in excellent condition. Strong maintenance records and desirable options can still help your listing stand out when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used luxury SUV with a premium feel, standard all-wheel drive, and a comfortable, spacious cabin, the 2019 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
