How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 5/5 user rating, and it suits you well if you want a luxury SUV with a premium feel, a conservative family-friendly character, and a quiet, comfortable, spacious cabin. It was still based on the first-generation GLE, so you get a familiar, conventional layout rather than a flashy design, and Canadian models came standard with 4Matic all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. The model’s appeal is also helped by its broad range of powertrains and equipment choices, from practical entry versions to stronger performance variants.

30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful pool of value-oriented options to consider.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE is described as quiet, comfortable, and spacious, with a reputation for being well equipped and polished. At the same time, you should pay close attention to electrical glitches and, on versions fitted with it, the air suspension, since those items can be problematic and expensive to fix.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that repair costs can rise quickly if you end up with a poorly maintained example or one with suspension-related issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 134 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.61% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,688 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $39,688 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,604 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can make the vehicle more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current trend points to a model that is holding value reasonably well, but not strongly appreciating. Condition, maintenance history, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want the familiar first-generation GLE formula with a premium cabin, standard all-wheel drive, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s combination of equipment and value.
