Yes — the 2019 Honda Pilot earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

What is the 2019 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $25,122 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,848 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pilot has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. Strong demand for spacious family SUVs can also help support resale interest when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $29,512 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $25,122 CAD average.
• It adds stronger standard safety and more advanced tech.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for newer standard safety and tech, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
