Is the 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its power, towing capability, and spaciousness, and the truck’s heavy-duty work focus makes it especially appealing if you need serious hauling strength and a cabin that still works for everyday use. Is the 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that many drivers can count on for heavy-duty work, especially when towing and hauling are part of the job. The recurring praise for power and trailer-pulling ability suggests dependable capability over time, while the spacious cabin adds to day-to-day usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a truck used for demanding work may have seen harder service than a lighter-duty vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced trucks.

• Deal availability: 21.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 76 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,135 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $38,439 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,330 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck more attractive to buyers now but may temper short-term resale gains for future sellers. If you buy at today’s average, you may have less immediate upside than in a rising market. Even so, the model’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal in the heavy-duty segment can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 21.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $44,365 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $38,439 CAD average.
• It adds a more balanced heavy-duty feel with a spacious cabin.

The bottom line:
The 2019 is the better value if you want strong capability and a lower entry price, especially if you can find a deal-priced listing. If you’re willing to spend more for the next year’s higher average price, the 2020 is the secondary path to consider.
