Is the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.38/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that many people feel they can count on, especially for power and towing duties. The broader model-year description also frames this generation as having a better reliability record than its successor, which supports its appeal for buyers looking for a dependable heavy-duty pickup. Even so, used buyers should still budget carefully for age-related wear and pay close attention to transmission condition, since that remains the main long-term ownership risk.

• Owners rate it 4.38/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want a heavy-duty truck with proven capability, broad trim and configuration choices, and owner satisfaction that supports its reputation. If your priority is getting the best value, the 2016 is worth a close look; if you want a newer-feeling cabin and more modern driver-assistance tech, a later model year may be the better path, especially if you are willing to pay more.
