Used 2019 Ford Edge for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2019 Ford Edge cost?

Prices have softened 15.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 420 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Ford Edge a good car?

Yes — with a 4.77/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating, the 2019 Ford Edge lands as a strong pick for shoppers who want space and comfort first. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its performance, comfort, features, spacious interior, and strong power. That lines up well with the Edge’s family-friendly two-row layout and its appeal for commuting and long trips, especially if you value practicality over the newest cabin design. The market also shows solid availability of good-value listings, with 30.7% of ads priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2019 Ford Edge reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people feel good about living with over time, especially because they highlight strong power, comfort, and features. The expert notes also describe the non-ST engine as one that “gets the job done and won’t let you down,” which supports the idea that the Edge is built to be dependable in everyday use. Ford’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite and the available Sync 3 system add to the sense that the Edge was engineered to be easy to count on.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that some examples may show their age in cabin materials and feature content, so condition matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Edge?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE is the most basic version, with 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, and a simpler cabin. The SEL adds roof rails, heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and available heated steering wheel and sunroof. The Titanium brings leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, remote start, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a Bang & Olufsen 12-speaker premium sound system. The ST adds blacked-out styling, 20-inch machined aluminium wheels, an upgraded exhaust system, leather seating, and ambient lighting.
• Powertrain: Non-ST trims use a 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. The ST uses a 2.7-litre EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 with 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, also with an eight-speed automatic and AWD.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beams, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Above the SE, you can add Co-Pilot360 Assist+ with adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, and lane-centreing.
• Infotainment: The base system uses a 4.2-inch non-touchscreen display with USB, WiFi hotspot, streaming music, Bluetooth, and voice recognition. An 8-inch Sync 3 system is available on the SEL and standard on the Titanium and ST, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The base two-litre with FWD uses 10.9 L/100 km city, 8.0 highway, and 9.6 combined. With AWD, it rises to 11.4 city, 8.3 highway, and 10.0 combined. The ST uses 12.6 city, 9.2 highway, and 11.0 combined.

Which 2019 Ford Edge trim should I buy?

The 2019 Ford Edge is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it feels the most stripped back because it uses the smaller 4.2-inch infotainment screen and misses the richer tech and comfort upgrades found higher up. It makes sense only if you want the lowest-cost way into the Edge and can live with the basic setup.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim. It adds heated front seats, rear parking sensors, roof rails, and access to the better 8-inch Sync 3 system, while still staying more affordable than the Titanium or ST. It also gives you a more complete feature set without pushing you into the pricier luxury or performance trims.
• Titanium: Choose this if you want the most comfort-focused version, with leather upholstery, remote start, a wireless charging pad, 19-inch wheels, and the premium Bang & Olufsen audio system. It suits you best if cabin upgrades matter more than outright performance.
• ST: Pick this if you want the Edge’s performance side, with the 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6, AWD, sportier styling, and the most powerful driving experience in the lineup. It is the right choice if you want speed and handling to matter as much as practicality.

Co-Pilot360 is standard, and Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is available above the SE.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Edge?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 420 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,447 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $17,875 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,071 CAD.

That price drop suggests the Edge has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy now, you may benefit from that lower entry point, but resale gains are less likely to be strong in the near term unless the vehicle is especially well equipped and well maintained. Trim choice matters too, since better-equipped versions may be easier to move later if they appeal to a wider pool of shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 Ford Edge safe?

The 2019 Ford Edge earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The Edge comes standard with Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite, which includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beams, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Above the SE, you can add Co-Pilot360 Assist+, which brings adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, evasive steering assist, and lane-centreing.

The main caveat is that IIHS notes lacklustre headlight performance, which is why the rating stops at Top Safety Pick rather than the higher designation.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines family space with an available ST performance trim.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,219 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $17,875 CAD average.
• It keeps the latest infotainment and safety tech while adding a more up-to-date overall feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2019 is the smarter buy because pricing has softened and inventory is healthy. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model with a fresher overall presentation, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
