Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 66 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,269 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $22,989 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,076 CAD.

That price movement suggests the TLX has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stays steady. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside left than you would with a newer, pricier luxury sedan. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $20,248 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $22,989 CAD average.
• It adds a refresh with sharper styling and improved standard equipment.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $24,440 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $22,989 CAD average.
• It leans harder into driving enjoyment and SH-AWD performance.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked, value-oriented luxury sedan with decent deal availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2018 is the smarter budget path; if you want a more performance-focused feel, the 2020 is worth the extra money.
