How much does the 2018 MINI Cooper cost?

There are 113 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2018 MINI Cooper a good car?

Yes — the 2018 MINI Cooper earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its zippy performance, great features, and distinctive style, and the playful driving experience is a major part of its appeal. It also makes sense if you want a small premium-feeling car that is fun to drive rather than simply practical. With 36.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 MINI Cooper reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a car that many owners find dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, especially when they value the MINI’s character and everyday usability. The recurring praise for its overall ownership experience suggests that it can be a car you feel good about keeping for the long term. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the car’s appeal and more about making sure the specific example has been cared for properly over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 MINI Cooper?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever for the right car.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,013 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 MINI Cooper's resale value?

The current average of $15,571 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,406 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less room for appreciation later, so condition and mileage will matter a lot when it comes time to resell. Strong demand for the MINI’s style and driving character should still help it hold attention in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 MINI Cooper or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 MINI Cooper is the better pick if you want the model’s signature style, playful driving feel, and strong owner approval in a year that is currently priced more favourably than it was a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also use the softer market to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the cheapest one.
