Used 2018 Acura MDX for Sale near Thornhill, ON

How much does the 2018 Acura MDX cost?

Prices have softened 17.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 129 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2018 Acura MDX a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Acura MDX earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, spacious interior, smooth driving experience, and feature-rich cabin, and many also value the advanced technology and overall value for money. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row luxury SUV with room for at least six passengers and a family-friendly layout. With 24.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Acura MDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and a vehicle that many people feel comfortable counting on over time. That matters if you want a used luxury SUV that is more about steady ownership than constant surprises.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well, since any premium SUV can become costly if deferred maintenance has piled up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Acura MDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,831 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Acura MDX's resale value?

The current average of $21,831 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,534 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The fact that the model still attracts strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want a well-liked, well-equipped three-row luxury SUV and you can find one priced near or below the current average. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 remains a sensible target when comfort, practicality, and owner satisfaction matter most.
