How much does the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

There are 162 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth driving experience, comfort, power, and cargo space, especially with the third row in use. That lines up well if you want a practical three-row SUV for family duty, everyday usability, and versatile hauling rather than sporty handling.

With 25.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, smoothness, and the kind of everyday usability that helps a vehicle feel trouble-free over time. That said, you should still pay close attention to service records and test-drive behaviour on a used example, since long-term ownership risk is always higher when maintenance history is unclear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 162 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,937 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $11,010 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,693 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has been willing to value this model year more conservatively. If you plan to sell later, the best protection is a clean history, strong maintenance records, and a well-kept example that stands out from the pack.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Pathfinder makes sense if you want a roomy, comfortable three-row SUV and you like the current pricing. If you're more price-sensitive, the 2015 can be worth a look for a lower entry cost, while shoppers who want a newer-feeling market may prefer to stretch to the 2017.
