How much does the 2016 Honda Pilot cost?

Is the 2016 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 4.82/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its spacious interior, family-friendly features, and comfort, and many also like the good gas mileage. The overview also makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV with a safety-first focus and practical everyday usability. With 30.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.82/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on comfort, family usefulness, and the kind of long-term practicality shoppers want in a used SUV. That said, you should still check maintenance records and inspect any used example carefully, because even well-liked family vehicles can carry age-related wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 188 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,636 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $17,636 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,600 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive on asking price to stand out. Even so, the Pilot’s strong owner satisfaction should help keep demand steady among family-focused buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.82/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.82/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used three-row SUV with strong owner approval, family-friendly space, and a price that has eased from last year, the 2016 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2016’s stronger feature set and safety appeal.
