Used 2016 Acura TLX for Sale nearDelta, BC

How much does the 2016 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 1.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 68 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Acura TLX a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2016 Acura TLX, and it fits a sedan that was designed to bridge the TSX and TL with a more focused luxury-sedan mission. The overview points to a premium four-door with multiple powertrain choices, available SH-AWD, and a practical automatic-only setup, so you get a car aimed at shoppers who want a distinctive mix of comfort, technology, and driving appeal. Its equipment list also helps it stand out, with features such as four-wheel steering, LED lighting, a sunroof, heated front seats, and a two-screen infotainment layout. With 25.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Acura TLX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also makes clear that reliability is not uniform across the lineup, since the nine-speed automatic paired with the V6 has a troublesome reputation. If you are shopping used, that transmission history is the main long-term ownership risk to evaluate closely before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,446 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $17,033 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,221 CAD.

That small decline suggests the market has softened, which can make the car a little less expensive to buy now but also means future sellers may need to price competitively. If you own one for a few years, the combination of steady demand and a clear value position should help it remain saleable, especially if it is well maintained and equipped with the more desirable features. The transmission reputation on some versions may still influence buyer confidence, so condition and service history matter.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better path if you want a used TLX with a strong value story, a broad equipment list, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years as well, but the 2016 remains a sensible target when you find one with the right history and equipment.
