Used 2015 Hyundai Sonata for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2015 Hyundai Sonata cost?

Prices have softened 12.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 112 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Hyundai Sonata a good car?

Yes — the 4.69/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, comfort, good value for money, spacious interior, and quality sound system. That lines up well with the Sonata’s role as a tech-forward, affordable midsize sedan that gives you generous equipment and everyday practicality. With 26.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2015 Hyundai Sonata reliable?

Owners rate it 4.69/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability, and it also describes the car as dependable and good for long-term ownership. That said, you should still shop carefully on the used market because this generation has known ownership risks that can affect how confidently you can count on it over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Hyundai Sonata?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,840 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Hyundai Sonata's resale value?

The current average of $9,845 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,301 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.69/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Hyundai Sonata or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.69/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2015 if you want a well-equipped, comfortable Sonata at a lower used-car price and you can take time to compare condition and listing quality. If you are especially price-sensitive, the current market gives you room to shop selectively and target the better-value examples rather than settling for the first one you see.
