Why it stands out
The 2014 Toyota Highlander remains a strong contender in the midsize SUV segment, known for its reliability, spacious interior, and value for money. Owners frequently highlight the comfort offered in its well-designed cabin, accommodating up to eight passengers in some configurations, making it a great choice for families. The SUV's robust safety ratings and comprehensive list of available features, even in lower trims, enhance its appeal. Although some drivers find the Highlander less engaging to drive compared to sportier rivals, its smooth ride, excellent safety record, and ample cargo space make it a practical option. The Highlander's unibody construction contributes to better handling and fuel efficiency compared to traditional SUVs, providing a blend of comfort and versatility that many families appreciate.

Overall the experience of driving the vehicle is fantastic. The higher seating above a sedan car makes this a pleasant ride in any weather enabling the driver to see far ahead when driving in heavy traffic. It has enough air bags to float a tank.

Our Limited AWD is a very solid car that we expect to drive for a long time. Very comfortable seats. The space is easily configured for people or cargo. Love the shelf under the dash!

Overall... excellent vehicle. Front row and 2nd row seats adjust to accommodate most drivers/riders. I did alot of shopping around before I made my purchase and what I found is that the Highlander is really the best value for the money. The interior is very nice... not cheap looking as compared to some other mid-size SUVs which were actually more expensive.

The car feels solid, that’s what I was looking for. The downside is that the seats are uncomfortable and the mirrors don’t fold in.
