• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 94 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.90% compared with last year.

What is the 2014 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $19,416 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,816 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. If you buy at the right price, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong demand for the Mustang’s performance and character should still help support interest from used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 feels like the most mature version of the Mustang’s long-running formula.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $22,665 CAD, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $19,416 CAD average.
• It brings a redesigned body and a big improvement in dynamics and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the smarter buy. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer redesign and stronger tech, the 2015 is the better long-term pick. Price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2014, especially if they find one near the low end of the range.
