September 24, 2010This was a great little car to have. Had no blind spots, fast, reliable, had a good amount of room for being a small car. Manual with no power controls. Was fun to fix up and husband loved it when we changed mufflers on it so it was louder. lol

December 10, 2009Dark blue on a 'P' plate. Bought for my wife. Suits her very well and her bum doesn't look big in it. Looks respectable yet not overbearing. Car has similar qualities.
June 25, 2008at the end of the day it was an old car not built for speed but family in mind, was great and built tough and lasted for ages. very cheap to repair and great on fuel, plus had loads of room
March 21, 2012I love my Escort her name is Blueberry and she has given me some best years. I bought it for my daughter used even though the passenger side window never downed since she has it she has always taken my daughter whereever she needed 2 go. Great paint job excellent on gas, clean as a whistle, neatly kept. my daughter since passed it on to her brother and I think the car hates him. He plays those vulgar rap music and blueberry is not use to it so she makes him spend money in repairs. Ha ha ha
July 10, 2008I had this car for years. The only bad part to the car was that the black trim at the base of the windows got brittle and flaked off.
March 18, 2008good performance but i dont like the look of the back, i like the stick shift. Goes fast for a 4 cylinder and handles well, sometimes loses traction because its so light. I like the interior and it is very comfortable.
December 28, 2009The (UK spec) Ford Escort is (in my opinion) 1 of the best looking cars ever and i was fortunate to own the 97 sr model and loved every minute of it i still dream today of owning a cosworth and will get one and restore it to its glory and best with the amazing whale tail
March 23, 2009I won't condemn it completely. However, it's always falling apart. Right now it needs an alignment, a lot of brake work. It's a pain really. Though, for a little stationwagon, it has some power.
