It had rust spots everywhere. U could stick ur hand thur the hatchback. It would stall out in cold weather if u took ur foot off the gas. It was white with red interior. It got good gas mileage. The front headlight was held in by zip-ties.Dec 09, 2009

This was my second car was average for my standards.The rubber spoilers and skirts and colour coded bumpers and miirrors looked modern for the time.Ford had changed the engine to CVH differing from the Mk2 escort which i thought was a poor engine and didnt take a lot of stick as the mk2.I rember the breathe pipes would eventually fill with oil and eventually the in its last days after owning it for 6 months the engine would shut down.Then i would sit for five minutes and then id be off again giving me another ten minutes driving time.Thank god for lay-bys.over all didnt really like these cars Mar 04, 2008
