What RAM 2500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 2500 years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume model years tend to be the most popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also sit close to the newer end of the range, so you often get a strong mix of modern features and broad availability.

What is the RAM 2500's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want more truck for your money. The biggest drops are in the newer model years, while the older entries show much smaller changes. That creates a clear value window for buyers who want a heavy-duty pickup with a softer used price than it had a year ago.

The 2015 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2015, 2017, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
