What Mercedes-Benz S-Class do most buyers choose?

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class years with the most listings are 2018, 2017, and 2016.

These higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they offer a wider selection and more price points to compare. That usually makes it easier to find the right combination of equipment, condition, and value.

What is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which can work in your favour if you want a used S-Class at a lower entry price than before. The largest drops are concentrated in older and mid-cycle years, while newer examples are also easing but by smaller amounts. That creates a broad spread of value opportunities across the lineup.

The 2014, 2017, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
