What should I look for when buying a used Lincoln Nautilus?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Lincoln BlueCruise, along with a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane centring steering, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, high beam assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, and automatic emergency braking.
• Infotainment: standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the 11.1-inch lower touchscreen and the full-width 48-inch display.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid Nautilus is rated by Natural Resources Canada at 8.2 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 7.5 on the highway, and 7.9 combined.

Which Lincoln Nautilus trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus offers these trims:

• Premiere: The entry trim brings black or grey synthetic leather upholstery, the standard 48-inch display layout, and the full suite of standard safety and tech features. It suits you if you want the Nautilus experience at the lower starting point.
• Reserve: This trim adds leather upholstery, a chocolate brown colour option, adaptive dampers, upgraded Revel audio, a panoramic roof, and 21-inch wheels. It is the best-value pick if you want the most complete version of the 2026 Nautilus.

What Lincoln Nautilus do most buyers choose?

The Lincoln Nautilus years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also often attract shoppers looking for a newer used SUV with a broader mix of features and deal opportunities.

What is the Lincoln Nautilus's resale value?

Most Nautilus model years are showing double-digit price declines, which can work in your favour if you are shopping used. The newer and pricier examples are also moving down meaningfully, so recent model years may offer stronger value than they did a year ago. A few years are falling less sharply than others, but the overall pattern still points to softer prices across the lineup.

The 2023, 2021, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Lincoln Nautilus safe?

• 2026: 9/10
• 2024: 9/10
• 2022: 8/10

Lincoln BlueCruise is standard on the 2026 Nautilus, along with the rest of the model’s driver-assistance suite.

For the safest used buy, the 2024 and 2026 models both post the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Lincoln Nautilus now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −17.89% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −14.99%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 29.9% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 35.3%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2025 model has the most listings at a current average price of $58,457 CAD. The Lincoln Nautilus offers a quiet, comfortable cabin and a distinctive luxury feel that make it especially appealing as an everyday SUV.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The Nautilus has only modest power for its price. Its standard turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine makes 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid boosts output to 310 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
• Tech: Lincoln’s different approach to technology centres around the full-width, 48-inch screen and the 11.1-inch lower touchscreen, with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Safety: Lincoln BlueCruise, a hands-free driving system that works on thousands of kilometres of mapped highways, is also standard and included for four years.
• Starting price: The Premiere starts at $63,445 CAD, including a $2,595 destination fee.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
