What should I look for when buying a used Genesis G70?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: The 2024 2.5-litre engine gets a Natural Resources Canada fuel economy rating of 10.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, and the larger 3.3-litre engine returns an estimated 11.9 L/100 km combined.

Which Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Genesis G70 offers these trims:

• Advanced: The best-value choice if you want the 2.5-litre engine, standard all-wheel drive in Canada, and the core luxury-sport setup at the lower price point.
• Sport: This trim adds the 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6, the mechanical limited-slip differential, electronically controlled suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, and the more performance-focused hardware for buyers who want the strongest driving character.

What Genesis G70 do most buyers choose?

The Genesis G70 years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2021.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare and a wider spread of prices and deal quality. That usually makes it easier to find the right trim and condition for your budget.

What is the Genesis G70's resale value?

Most model years in the G70 lineup are down sharply year over year, which can create attractive opportunities for used buyers. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer years, while the smaller declines suggest some versions are softening more gradually than others.

The 2023, 2019, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
