What should I look for when buying a used Genesis G70?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: The 2.5-litre engine gets a Natural Resources Canada fuel economy rating of 10.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, and the larger 3.3-litre engine returns an estimated 11.9 L/100 km combined.
• Infotainment: Every G70 gets a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although they don’t function wirelessly.
• Safety package: The G70 makes most advanced driver aids standard, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rain-sensing wipers, and parking distance warning. Highway Driving Assist is also standard.

Which Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Genesis G70 offers these trims:

• Advanced: This is the best-value choice if you want the 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive, and the core luxury-sport setup without moving to the top end.
• Sport: This trim adds the 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6, the mechanical limited-slip differential, electronically controlled suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, variable-steering ratio, and drift mode for the most performance-focused setup.

What Genesis G70 do most buyers choose?

The Genesis G70 years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and a better chance of finding the right colour, trim, and price combination. They also tend to attract more attention from used buyers because they balance newer features with broader availability.

What is the Genesis G70's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the lineup, which can work in your favour if you’re shopping used. The largest drops are concentrated in the newer model years, while the older years show smaller year-over-year changes. That makes the G70 especially interesting if you want a luxury sport sedan that has already moved down from its original pricing.

The 2023, 2022, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
