Which Chevrolet Trax trim should I buy?

The 2026 Chevrolet Trax offers these trims:

• 1RS: The base trim brings an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a four-speaker audio system, and cloth upholstery, making it the entry point for shoppers who want the Trax’s core tech and value.
• LT: This trim adds the 11-inch touchscreen, an all-digital 8-inch instrument cluster, a six-speaker sound system, and rear-seat USB charging, making it the best-value choice for most buyers.

What Chevrolet Trax do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Trax years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.

The highest-volume model years tend to be the most popular because they give you the broadest selection of trims, prices, and condition levels. They also usually reflect the newest design and feature updates, which helps them appeal to a wider range of used buyers.

What is the Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

Most Trax model years are showing clear year-over-year price declines, which can work in your favour if you are shopping used. The steepest drops are concentrated in older model years, while the newest versions are falling more slowly and therefore retaining more of their value. That makes recent Trax models especially worth watching if you want a newer vehicle at a softer price.

The 2022, 2024, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

The 2026 Chevrolet Trax includes standard driver-assist features such as automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, and a following distance indicator.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The Trax continues with a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive (FWD), and it is rated at 8.1 litres per 100 kilometres combined (8.5 city, 7.6 highway).
