Should I buy a 2025 Toyota RAV4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,940 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $40,694 CAD average.
• It offers dependable, roomy practicality with broad drivetrain choice.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a redesigned package with more power, greater efficiency, and standard hybrid operation.

The bottom line: The 2025 makes sense if you want a proven, well-equipped RAV4 with softened pricing and strong owner approval. If your priority is lower upfront cost, the 2024 is the better value play. If you want the newest redesign and improved efficiency, it is worth stretching to the 2026.
