Used 2025 Subaru WRX for Sale near New Brunswick

Is the 2025 Subaru WRX a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Subaru WRX is a good car if you want a sedan-only performance model that prioritises driving enjoyment, standard all-wheel drive, and a turbocharged Boxer engine. It is also available with a six-speed manual transmission, which makes it especially appealing if you want a more involved driving experience. For 2025, the WRX tS trim adds a more performance-focused setup with Brembo brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, Recaro sport seats, and retuned suspension settings, while the broader lineup still includes useful tech such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and available driver-assistance features on higher trims. The main trade-off is that fuel economy is not a strong point, so this is a car for buyers who value performance over efficiency. The market shows 37.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Subaru WRX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 WRX’s appeal comes from a familiar formula: a turbocharged Boxer engine, standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and a focus on driving enjoyment. That kind of straightforward performance-oriented setup can be attractive if you want a car that feels purpose-built rather than overly complicated. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a performance car like this may be driven harder than an ordinary compact sedan, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru WRX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 154 listings available.

That combination suggests you have enough choice to compare condition, mileage, and trim without feeling rushed. If you find a well-kept WRX with the equipment you want, now is a reasonable time to buy.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru WRX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2025 WRX is the better pick if you want the latest version of Subaru’s performance sedan formula, especially with the added appeal of the WRX tS trim and the continued availability of a manual transmission. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025 is the stronger choice if you want the freshest version of this setup and can find a well-priced example.
