How much does the 2025 Porsche 911 cost?

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating, the 2025 Porsche 911 lands squarely in the sweet spot for shoppers who want a sports car that still works in everyday use.

The model’s appeal comes from its refreshed 992.2-generation updates, familiar rear-engine layout, and the way it blends thrilling performance with solid daily livability. The expert testing also highlights a comfortable and simplistic interior, plus excellent ride quality and handsome looks.

The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The main trade-offs are wind buffeting on the highway and slightly confusing tech, and the base model no longer offers a manual transmission.

With 33.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Porsche 911 is presented as a refined evolution of a proven formula, with the refreshed 992.2 generation keeping the familiar rear-engine layout while updating the face, interior, and power output. In expert testing, it comes across as polished and confidence-inspiring, with strong performance and a well-sorted driving experience.

Its performance hardware is described as robust and effective, and the standard adaptive dampers help it feel composed without losing the sports-car character. The cost-effectiveness notes also point to a strong ownership proposition for the base model, with a lot of capability built into the standard package.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a high-performance sports car can still bring higher running costs and more sensitivity to maintenance history than a mainstream vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche 911?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Carrera stands out for its simple, handsome interior, standard Matrix Design LED headlights, and clean layout, while the Premium Package adds useful convenience and driver-assistance upgrades. If you want the most complete everyday setup, the package-equipped cars are the ones to prioritise.
• Powertrain: The Carrera uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six with 389 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed PDK and rear-wheel drive. It is quick, smooth, and efficient for the class, but the base model no longer offers a manual transmission.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.9-inch infotainment display with Porsche Communication Management, plus a fully digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay is supported, and the system is praised for its clear layout and easy operation.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada-rated fuel economy is 12.9 L/100 km in the city, 9.2 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Porsche 911 is offered in 6 trim levels: Carrera, Cabriolet, Carrera T, Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, Carrera 4 GTS, and Targa.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the best-value choice if you want the core 911 experience, because it delivers the twin-turbo flat-six, PDK transmission, rear-wheel drive, strong ride quality, and the clean, simple cabin that makes the car feel special without piling on extras.
• Cabriolet: Choose this if you want open-air driving from the start, but expect to pay more for the convertible body style rather than for a major change in the car’s underlying character.
• Carrera T: This is the one to consider if you want the manual transmission, since it is the trim that brings that option back into the lineup.
• Carrera GTS T-Hybrid: Pick this if you want the biggest jump in output and the most advanced powertrain in the range, with a 3.6-litre flat-six, larger turbochargers, and a plug-in hybrid system.
• Carrera 4 GTS: This is the AWD choice in the lineup, so it suits you if traction matters more than keeping the car rear-drive.
• Targa: Choose this if you want the GTS experience with the Targa roof style.

The Premium Package is the key safety-and-convenience upgrade to look for if you want adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche 911?

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.70% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $270,940 CAD sits slightly below last year's $290,400 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about where the market is headed. If prices continue to normalise, a well-kept example should still hold up better than many sports cars because demand remains anchored by the 911’s reputation and broad appeal. The strongest resale prospects will likely belong to cars with desirable equipment, clean history, and the right trim for enthusiast buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 safe?

The 2025 Porsche 911 comes standard with traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

To expand the driver-assistance suite, the Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist. In testing, those functions performed well, and adaptive cruise control was especially smooth in operation.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 marks the beginning of the refreshed 992.2 generation, with subtle updates to the face, interior, and power output.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the 911 formula with strong everyday usability, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry price while still delivering much of the same core 911 character.
