How much does the 2025 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have softened 4.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 179 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Porsche 911 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2025 model year marks the beginning of the refreshed 992.2 generation, and it keeps the familiar rear-engine shape while adding subtle updates to the face, interior, and power output. That lines up with its appeal as a sports car that still feels current without losing its identity. It also stands out for excellent overall performance, a comfortable and simplistic interior, and solid daily livability, which makes it more versatile than many sports cars.

The main trade-offs are wind buffeting on the highway and slightly confusing tech, and the base model no longer offers a manual transmission.

With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive example if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Porsche 911 is presented as a refined evolution of a proven formula, with the refreshed 992.2 generation keeping the rear-engine layout and adding updates rather than a wholesale redesign. Its expert assessment also points to strong all-around capability, which usually matters when you want a car that feels consistent and well sorted over time. The performance notes are especially reassuring: the car delivers smooth, fast shifts, strong braking, and confident handling, all of which support a sense of mechanical polish.

The cost-effectiveness commentary also highlights that the base model delivers a lot of performance and driving enjoyment for the money, which can help reduce the feeling that you need to stretch into a higher trim just to get the core experience. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is still a high-end sports car, so any neglected example could be expensive to sort out.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche 911?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Carrera is the entry point, and it brings standard Matrix Design LED headlights, a clean and simple cabin, and a modest 10.9-inch infotainment display. You should also note that the Premium Package adds more driver-assistance equipment, so a lower-spec car may feel lighter on convenience and safety tech.
• Powertrain: The Carrera uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six with 389 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed PDK and rear-wheel drive. It is quick, smooth, and versatile, but the base model no longer offers a manual transmission.
• Safety package: The standard suite includes traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.9-inch centre display with Porsche Communication Management, plus a fully digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay is supported, and the system is described as simple and easy to use once you learn it.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada-rated fuel economy is 12.9 L/100 km in the city, 9.2 on the highway, and 11.3 combined.

Which 2025 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Porsche 911 is offered in 6 trim levels: Carrera, Carrera T, Cabriolet, Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, Carrera 4 GTS, and Targa.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the best-value choice if you want the core 911 experience, because it delivers the twin-turbo flat-six, rear-wheel drive, and the strongest blend of performance, ride quality, handling, and braking without pushing you into pricier territory.
• Carrera T: Choose this if you want the manual transmission, since that is the trim where it is available. It suits you best if driver involvement matters more than outright convenience.
• Cabriolet: Pick this if open-air driving is a priority. It starts higher than the coupe, so it makes sense mainly if you specifically want the convertible body style.
• Carrera GTS T-Hybrid: This is the performance-focused step up, with a 3.6-litre flat-six, larger turbochargers, and a plug-in hybrid system that raises output substantially. It is for you if you want more power and are comfortable paying for it.
• Carrera 4 GTS: Choose this if you want the GTS performance with all-wheel drive. It is the right fit when traction and added capability matter more than keeping the price down.
• Targa: This is the style-led choice in the upper range, pairing the GTS with a Targa roof. It suits you if you want a more distinctive open-roof setup.

The Premium Package is the key safety-package note to keep in mind, since it adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche 911?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.76% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $257,875 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $274,425 CAD sits slightly below last year's $288,152 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and specification rather than assuming the market will lift every example equally. Well-kept cars with desirable equipment should still attract strong interest, but you may need to price competitively if you want a quick sale.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 safe?

The 2025 Porsche 911 has not been tested by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite includes traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. If you want more assistance tech, the Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist. In practice, those functions were described as working well, with adaptive cruise control singled out for especially smooth operation.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refreshed 992.2 generation brings subtle updates to the face, interior, and power output while keeping the familiar 911 character.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the 911 formula, the 2025 is the one to target because it adds the refreshed 992.2 updates without abandoning the car’s core strengths. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s softer pricing and strong satisfaction signal make it a compelling used buy right now.
