This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings closely.

What is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport's resale value?

The current average of $29,820 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,233 CAD.

That suggests resale values have eased a bit, which can matter if you plan to sell or trade in within a few years. If prices stay near this level, future sellers may need to be more competitive on condition, mileage, and service records. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers looking for a compact hatchback with broad market interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want a current-year used example with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has softened enough to create some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, especially if you can find a cleaner example or a lower asking price.
