Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some confidence if you focus on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 124 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,098 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport's resale value?

The current average of $25,098 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,184 CAD.

For a future seller, that points to a market that has already adjusted downward, which can make timing more important if you're planning to trade in or sell privately. If prices stabilise, well-kept examples may hold their appeal better than average-condition listings. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later.

Should I buy a 2023 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better starting point if you want a model year with softer pricing and a decent number of listings to compare. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can still be worth checking nearby years, but the 2023 gives you a balanced mix of value and availability.
