Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings before moving quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport's resale value?

The current average of $30,109 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,759 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you’re buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays steady. For a seller, the current trend suggests you may need to price competitively to attract attention. Strong demand can still support resale, especially when a model has a solid reputation with owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the lower end of the range and compare them carefully against other nearby model years before deciding.
