Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 158 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,726 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport's resale value?

The current average of $30,310 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,485 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more favourable point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward from last year’s level. If prices stay near the current range, a well-kept example should still appeal to used-car shoppers who are comparing condition, mileage, and value. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this price band and value strong owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the better primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth comparing for a lower entry price, especially if you can find one with similar condition and mileage.
