Used 2025 MINI Cooper for Sale nearPort Coquitlam, BC

How much does the 2025 MINI Cooper cost?

Prices have softened 5.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 127 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 MINI Cooper a good car?

Yes — the 2025 MINI Cooper earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

It is redesigned for 2025 with changes throughout, and it is a little bigger inside and out while retaining quirky interior design and all-new infotainment tech to preserve its playful personality. Even with the added size, it still weighs less than 1,400 kilograms, which helps it stay true to the lightweight feel that makes the car distinctive.

The trade-offs are worth noting, though: the infotainment is called terrible, there is no ability to independently shift gears without paying extra, and the base price is high.

The 2025 MINI Cooper’s 35.4% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still some attractive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 MINI Cooper reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 MINI Cooper is described as a redesigned model that keeps its lightweight, playful character while adding new infotainment tech and a roomier cabin for its size. That combination points to a car that should feel engaging and usable day to day, especially if you value personality over pure practicality.

Its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic are presented as a strong fit for the chassis, and the car is said to return solid overall fuel economy. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure any recall work has been completed and that the car’s software and electronics are behaving properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 MINI Cooper?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Cooper C gives you the core MINI look and feel, while the Cooper S adds the more potent turbocharged setup and the livelier personality that suits enthusiastic driving. The standard safety equipment is strong across the range, but you should confirm whether the car has the optional adaptive cruise control if that matters to you.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and front-wheel drive. The base model makes 161 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, while the Cooper S makes 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go is optional.
• Infotainment: The cabin centres on a 9.4-inch touchscreen with Mini’s latest Operating System 9 software. Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and dual-zone climate control are standard, and there are several USB-C outlets throughout the cabin.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2025 MINI Cooper achieves a Natural Resources Canada combined rating of between 7.3 and 7.9 litres per 100 kilometres depending on configuration.

Which 2025 MINI Cooper trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Cooper is offered in 2 trim levels: Cooper C and Cooper S.

Here's the short version:

• Cooper C: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the MINI style, the redesigned cabin, and the standard safety and tech without stretching to the pricier performance model. It makes sense if you care more about the badge’s character than maximum punch.
• Cooper S: This is the best-value trim if you want the MINI’s playful chassis to feel genuinely quick. The extra torque and stronger acceleration make it the more satisfying choice for enthusiastic driving, and the expert notes make clear that the added torque is worth the price increase.

The standard safety package includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning, with adaptive cruise control available as an option.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 MINI Cooper?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards patience and comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 127 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,751 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 MINI Cooper's resale value?

The current average of $39,621 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,865 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for future sellers to command top dollar right away. If you own one, the current trend implies you may need to price competitively to stand out, especially if similar listings remain plentiful.

On the other hand, the model’s distinctive styling and strong enthusiast appeal can help support demand when the car is well kept and properly equipped. A clean history and desirable trim should matter more as the market sorts through available inventory.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 MINI Cooper safe?

The 2025 MINI Cooper has not been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

In Canada, it comes standard with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality is optional.

The recall for the integrated braking system is an important caveat for used buyers, so you should confirm that any affected vehicle has had the remedy completed before you buy.

Should I buy a 2025 MINI Cooper or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model brings a redesigned cabin, all-new infotainment tech, and a little more space while keeping the MINI’s playful personality.

The bottom line: If you want the newest MINI Cooper with the updated design and tech, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, the softer market and decent deal availability make it worth shopping carefully for a well-priced example rather than paying a premium for the first one you see.
